none, my dad bought be a bmw 525i when i was about your age. brand new. and when i went away to collage a year later, i couldent bring it with, it would have been SUCH a hastle. so my little brother got it.

if i was you, id just ask your parents to give you the money for the car, buy something that will last you a year.

then buy a bike when you go to collage, because you REALLY dont need a car in collage. everythings on campus.

If the motor runs but you aren't getting any air, check the for clogged microfilters.

If the motor doesn't run, It could be the blower motor final stage. The final stage is what BMW calls the electronic module that controls the blower speed.

In a BMW, the final stage fails more often than the actual blower motor.

The blower motor is shagged - replace it.
Do you mean 318i. I dont think there ever was a 316i. Blower motors do go bad and you may need to change it. Usually under the dash on the passenger side. I think for Jap cars they are about $40-60 reman. Not sure about BMW.

1) Do I need to purchase different tires for back and front since it has the "sports" package that comes with different tires in front and back?

2) Can I use the rims that are already on there? or do I need new rims?

Try working with The Tire Rack. Their web site is the most informative and chances are they have already tested and rated nearly all tires available for your car. You can save money this way, but the info available here is priceless...
