Barrow and his buddy Lowell took noted and drew pictures about their trip.
They talked about the weather and the habitat around the Rio Grande river.
Barrow's class took a field trip to the Mesilla Valley Bosque. He learned about the research scientist are doing around the Rio Grande river.
Barrow turned 10!  He received and iPod nano watch and thought it was the best birthday ever!
Mom said it was the best Mother's Day!
We also saw where movies were filmed on the property. Barrow really loved looking at the tanks and helicopters that were left from the last film.
We took a hayride around the property, viewing homes built by early settlers.
After church, we headed to Cattleman's Restaurant at Indian Cliffs Ranch.  We enjoyed checking out all of the animals before having dinner.
Mother's Day 2012. Mom was served breakfast in bed by 4 smiling faces.
Barrow did his best to have good behavior for mom!  She enjoyed getting to know his classmates.
Mom was a substitute teacher in Barrow's class. She learned about the plants they were growing in the garden, and how they measured and charted their growth.
A post play celebration at the Mix, where the kids loved watching the chef make sushi!
Barrow and Trent also had fun playing with David. I think Mrs. Ruth had her hands full!

Barrow and his teacher for the past 4 years, Mrs. Ruth Cantrell. She said he had a talent for screen writing, because of his great imagination!
Barrow performed in his 4th Children's Theater performance.  Prior to the performance, Mrs. Ruth announced that it was the world premier of Barrow William's first screenplay, "The Lost Sword".
Barrow was pretty stressed because he did not see him mom just before the play was to start.  His teacher asked what mom looked like, and he said, "Well she is beautiful!"  She asked what his dad looked like, and he said "He is wearing a white tuxedo!"
Rosie continued to grow, but was never even close to being as big as El Guapo.
