The week was filled with activities...

Day 1- they settled in then kicked off camp with...Harry Potter night.  They made wands and learned some magic!

Barrow attended his 3rd summer at Camp Rising Sun!

Barrow enjoyed getting together with his classmates at the bowling alley, just before school started.  They were excited to see each other again, and looking forward to starting 4th grade.

All of Mimi and Dick Daddy's children and grandchildren attended the party!

After camp, we celebrated Mimi and Dick Daddy's 50th wedding anniversary.

We were sad for camp to end, but enjoyed visiting with the Williams one last time before heading back to Fort Worth.

Denny, was one of Barrow's first counselors, and he continued at camp every year Barrow has been at Sky Ranch.  He graduates this year, and plans to join the WWF!  We are Denny's biggest fans!

Barrow made daily visits to the health center to see mom. While there, he always enjoyed sharing jokes with his counselors and cabin mates.

What a memorable vacation!

We also played at the beach and waterslides.

Our last stop was Castaway Cay, where we snorkeled.

Barrow got the scoop about the ship, and the number of lifeboats, from Captain Tom.

We were amazed by the performance of Ricky Kalmon, a hypnotist.

There were lots of Disney characters on board the ship.

Barrow had fun taking part in the "jam session" during the deck party.

Back on the ship, we enjoyed the musical performances including Aladdin, Wish and Believe. We also were entertained by a juggler and magician.

Our dolphin, Desiree, was very playful.

We spent the afternoon playing and swimming with dolphins.

We enjoyed some island cuisine, and played at the beach when we first arrived at Tortola.

The next day, our ship docked at St. Thomas, one of the US Virgin Islands.  We took a boat to the island of Tortola, one of the British Virgin Islands.

The night ended with a fireworks display that we enjoyed from the top deck of the ship.

When we boarded the ship...we all turned into pirates!

We played on the beach. Barrow met a friend, Beau, who was also on the cruise.

We leared a little bit about the island - which is part Dutch and part French.

We often enjoyed breakfast on the deck. On this day, we had just docked at the island of St. Martin.

We rotated restaurants each evening, dining at the Royal Palace, the Enchanted Garden, and the Animators Palate. Each restaurant had its own special features.

The staff sang "Happy Birthday" and played music with their kitchen "tools".

Our wait staff helped us to celebrate Barrow's 10th birthday (just a little late)!  We really enjoyed getting to know Plamen, Saul and Nikola who served us dinner every night.

The 11th deck also had the Mickey and Donald Duck pools.

The ship had a waterslide called the Aquaduck.  It was on the 11th deck and it twisted over the ocean!

We sailed away, and began our journey to the Caribbean.  

The next day we boarded the Disney Fantasy!

Nana and Pops met us in Orlando and joined us in Downtown Disney.

We started with a ride to Disney's Caribbean Resort.  Barrow enjoyed the movie along the way!

We landed in Orlando and gathered our luggage.

Time for vacation...starting with an early flight!
